Workman Artist Profile: Eduardo Hatch
My paintings reflect real as well as imaginary life experiences. In hard times when things feel to have become almost unbearable, panting has been a great refuge, and a way to recognize that I can always create my own colorful and beautiful world.
Angels
My work has been mainly influenced by my love of Picasso, Kandinsky, Chagall, Botero and others. Often, I abandon the figurative altogether and let flow the pure spontaneous forces of colour, brightness, form and movement.
Garden
Eduardo Hatch was born in Havana, Cuba. In the mid-1980s, he left his hometown and moved to Canada. He is a self-taught artist who works mainly in oil and acrylic painting mediums. Eduardo's work has been exhibited and collected mainly in Toronto.
