New chair in military mental health created​

The Canadian Forces has created a new chair in military mental health. This follows the November announcement that the federal government will spend $200 million to address mental health issues among members of the armed forces, veterans and their families.

Colonel Rakesh Jetly, senior psychiatrist with the Armed Forces, mental health advisor to the Surgeon General, and Portico National Editorial Board member, has been appointed as the first Chair in Military Health, for three years.
