The link between poverty and health​

CBC radio explores the connections between poverty and health in an episode called "Health and Wealth".  Listen to doctors, including Dr. Gary Bloch, a family physician at St. Michael's Hospital and Chair of the College of Family Physicians Committee on Poverty and Health. Dr. Bloch says doctors should deal with a patient's poverty first, before they treat medical problems, because poverty is the greatest determinant of health.
