- Tableau clinique sévère (risque important de comportements suicidaires, psychose, trouble bipolaire, particulièrement de type I, avec épisodes maniaques)
- Clarification diagnostique (bipolarité, comorbidité avec un trouble de la personnalité)
- Patient réfractaire au traitement standard (TTC, essais avec deux médicaments ou plus)
