Auditor general criticizes veterans' mental health services
In his fall report, Auditor General Michael Ferguson has found there are too many barriers to getting timely mental health services and benefits for veterans. Barriers include a complex application process and delays in getting records necessary to qualify for benefits. You can read the CBC news report here.
Earlier this week, the federal government announced it would spend $200 million over five years to address mental health issues in the military. Here's that CBC article.
