Glenn Close shares her family's story​

Award-winning actor Glenn Close is a very public advocate for better treatment and understanding of mental illness. Her nephew lives with schizoaffective disorder and her sister with bipolar disorder. Recently she spoke to Jian Ghomeshi, host of CBC's Q, where she talked about not having the language of mental illness years ago and how she's trying to change that. Close is speaking April 7 at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto as part of the Unique Lives series.
