Tobacco bans in school reduce smoking rates
A new study in 43 countries has shown that when school tobacco-free policies are strongly enforced, students are less likely to smoke. The study also showed that enforcement of the policies was a more effective deterrent than in-class education. You can read more about the study in this Globe and Mail article.
