General viewing of the Portico website ("Website") as an unregistered user is subject to acceptance of the following terms of use ("Terms of Use"). Please read these Terms of Use carefully. By continuing to use the Website, you ("You", with references to "Your" as applicable) agree that You have accepted these Terms of Use. The Portico Website is powered by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health ("CAMH"). Users who access the Website are referred to as "users" throughout these Terms of Use.
The Website may provide information and various tools for people experiencing mental health and addiction issues and their concerned significant others, as well as collaboration and communication forums for these users as well as professional users. If You choose to participate in the collaboration and communication forums, You will be asked to register as a ‘registered user' and will be asked to agree to a further terms of use specific to those activities (and related to the use of mobile applications and Community Forum discussion boards).

Terms of Use - CAMH Media
Use of the Portico website ("Website"), including the community forum and discussion board(s) (collectively the "Community Forum") by you ("You", with references to and "Your" as applicable) is subject to acceptance of the following terms of use ("Terms of Use").Please read these carefully, and indicate Your acceptance of them on the registration page by clicking on the box that indicates You have read and agree to the Terms of Use.
We will refer to the Website and Community Forum together as the "CAMH Media". We will refer to other registered users of the CAMH Media as "registered users". The Community Forum is designed and intended for people who currently reside in the Canada. The information may not be relevant to, or accurate for, people residing outside this country.
Appropriateness of Participation
As a condition of Your participation in the CAMH Media programs and activities, You agree to support Portico's goals of civility and privacy. Postings in the Community Forum are governed by the Community Guidelines and must be appropriate. Any posting that demonstrates elements of the following will be deleted by the Portico moderator, in his or her sole discretion:
- Crude, profane or salacious language
- Discrimination on any basis, including physical or mental disability, race, creed, colour, sex, country of origin
- Is abusive or insulting to others
- Is obscene or offensive
- Does not reflect the purpose of the Community Forum set out above or the theme of the specific forum to which you are posting
- Advertises websites, products or services without prior written approval form the staff of the Community Forum (as listed below in contact information)
- Discloses the identity of personal information (including personal health information) of any person without their express consent
- Might cause harm to someone's computer or communication system
- Solicits for the purpose of research or publication without the prior written approval of the staff of the Community Forum
- Is protected by copyright, unless you have received the written consent of the author and/or publisher and prior written approval of the staff of the Forum
The posting of objectionable material may be grounds for revocation of Your access to the CAMH Media.
Views Expressed are Those of Users
The CAMH Media provides various tools for people experiencing mental health and addiction issues and their concerned significant others, and, in the case of the Community Forum may provide a venue for collaboration and communication for these users as well as for allied health professionals. The purpose of the Community Forum is to create and sustain an online community dedicated to providing an opportunity for registered users to exchange ideas, provide information, and facilitate general dialogue and opinions. As such, the content appearing in a Community Forum does not necessarily reflect the views of CAMH, and CAMH assumes no responsibility nor liability for the materials found in the Community Forum nor for any claims, damages or losses resulting from any use of this service or the materials contained therein.
Abusive Expressions or Inadvertent Disclosure by Others
CAMH is not responsible for the content of any postings by its users within the Community Forum.
