Resources
Although the HEIA tool provides useful guidance and structure, you still need to gather the information you entered into it. Your HEIA analysis is only as robust as the quality of evidence you feed in. For best results, you need to collect a broad spectrum of reliable evidence.
In this section of the site, you’ll find resources that can help you locate information for a HEIA. These include sources of evidence on health equity issues and on vulnerable and marginalized populations. You’ll also find tip sheets developed by HEIA champion organizations. These tip sheets are designed to provide quick advice on completing specific stages of HEIA.
We’re always interested in learning about HEIA resources. If you’d like to suggest material, please contact us at healthequity@camh.ca.
