Create - Explore your experiences in psychiatric outreach
Film - Facilitators will assist with filming and editing your story
Share - Screen your story at the close of the conference, on November 10th
Join with other residents, faculty, northern colleagues, and peers to create digital stories related to working in outreach contexts. Participants will be fully supported by a team of experienced facilitators, who will guide the group in creating the stories.
Digital storytelling is a mode of creating and sharing stories through the use of technology. Your story can be developed from a poem, an emotion, music, an image, an object, or an existing story. Participants are encouraged to bring objects, photos or ideas related to their outreach experiences to the workshop. Facilitators will guide the development of stories as part of the workshop. Facilitation is by REDLAB – Re-visioning Difference Mobile Media Arts Lab. REDLAB uses arts and technology to engage participants in the use of story to explore experiences of marginalization, ability, and resilience.
Location: Artscape Sandbox
Costs associated with meals are included in the registration fees. Travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the participant or program. Click here to learn more about the conference policies.
For technical issues related to registration and payment please email: Robyn.Steidman@camh.ca.
