People with problem gambling tend to keep their problems hidden due to stigma, shame or their own perception that it is not a problem. Screening is key to improving detection of problem gambling. Short and easy-to-administer screening tools are available.
The NODS-CLiP is a brief, three-question screening instrument that is derived from the DSM-IV (Toce-Gersten, et al., 2009; Volberg, et al., 2011).
