SASP Seed Grants

One of the purposes of the Scarborough Addiction Services Partnership (SASP) is to contribute to the development of an integrated continuum of quality addiction services in Scarborough to diverse groups, their families, and the community through partnerships with key service providers.

The Scarborough Addiction Services Partnership provides annual funding to community-based initiatives in order to build community capacity. This funding is provided as seed grants, giving projects funding on an annual basis, which can be renewed for up to 3 consecutive years.

CAMH administers funding grants which are provided by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. These grants are available to Respondents to assist in the funding of new projects or projects which are currently being funded through CAMH which are in their 2nd or 3rd years. The maximum amount of funding available per funded project is up to $30,000.00 per fiscal year for projects in their first or 2nd years, and up to $15,000.00 per fiscal year for projects in their  3rd year.

Projects must be delivered by an incorporated, not-for-profit (charitable) Scarborough-based organization and must substantially serve residents of the  Scarborough region (defined as within the boundaries of Victoria Park to the Rouge Valley; Finch to the Danforth)

For information about the currently SASP-funded projects, please see our Funded Projects page.
